Description

This tachi is a long bokken made from a single piece of red oak from Kyushu - Japan's large Southern island. Red oak is light and moderately hard, making it easy to use and very resistant to strikes. These are excellent qualities for a bokken、especially one for beginners who are just starting to learn the Kendo kata.

This tachi is available with or without a plastic tsuba and tsubadome. These not only protect your hands during practice, but are also used actively in some techniques. We can ship this bokken internationally free of charge.
Additional Information
  • 100% Japanese Red Oak
  • 101.5cm length
  • Flat spine
  • Made in Japan.
