Sanogawa Ichimatsu Chequered Design
The Ichimatsu pattern is named after a Kabuki actor, active in the 18th century, who used to wear a Kimono with such design on stage. Very traditional, yet still popular.
This bag
is made of heavy duty cotton, dyed following traditional methods.

Available in two sizes: for 2 shinai or for 3 shinai.

With this pattern, a small embroidery with a limited number of characters can be added on the back (opposite side of the Housen label) of the bag. Enter directly the Japanese characters, if you know them, or just the text, specifying in the order notes that you wish Kyoto Budogu to transliterate it for you.
