Tokuren® Hero is a revolutionary new 'Keishi-gata' Bogu set, which is both light weight and strong, whilst at the same time being quick drying and easy to care for. The use of a special type of stitching, called 'Pitch-Nagazashi', ensures that the Futon is both flexible and protective, as well as giving a smart appearance.
Based on the design and specifications used by many of the members of Japan's Police Kendo teams - as can easily be seen when watching videos of high level tournaments, such as the All Japan Championships.
Please be aware that each Bogu set is custom made, and like any tailor-made item, a great deal of time and effort goes into producing each one. This is not a 'run of the mill' Bogu, and because we are providing you with the very best quality and perfect fit this Bogu can not, and will not be sold 'off the shelf'. Please be aware that in order for us to deliver a top quality, hand-crafted bogu set that delivery may take some time. Please expect to wait approximately 4-6 months for shipping, depending on the specific options you have chosen. We will advise of a more accurate delivery time at the point of order.
