Having waited for my Bogu patiently, i can honestly say that Miyako's craftsmen have done a perfect, precise and elegantly beautiful job of putting together my bogu to my specifications. It fit very nicely upon arrival and continues to mold itself to my body with each and every use. It is very light without compromising the necessary amount of protection required. It is an absolutely beautiful bogu. You will no doubt receive many WOW's as i did. I cant wait to design and order my next one. A very BIG

Tokuren® Alpha - Jissengata Bogu |

I received the bogu, and have had a chance to use it at keiko. The
Tare and Doh are wonderful. It's true that I am not aware of the Tare
even during sonkyo, and the back edges of the Doh do not clip my
elbows like others have.
The Men fits like a glove. It is very tight, and it receives men-uchi
very well. Mostly, I am so very happy to finally be able to see!
Honestly, I feel like my sight is completely unhindered by the
Men-gane! I was very surprised by this.
The Kote fit very well, I feel my kendo has been improving because I have
learned to guard my kote much better to avoid the pain. Also, this
situation has helped me to correct the improper position of my right
wrist. Also, the kote stay on my hands like well made gloves, and do
not have a tendency to slide or move when my hands are relaxed. This
is why I have ordered a duplicate set. Thanks again for all your hard
work and wonderful products.
I am very happy with the bogu, and appreciate all of your time and
effort in helping me.

Excellent All Round Bogu and Team |

Kote are made extremely well and the detail and time taken can be clearly seen. The short Mendare don't restrict movement of my shoulders. The Men fits so well I didn't feel that one of my Himo was loose until shown. All together the set is very light and is clearly a no frills fighting set. From the time Andi asked for my photo to get the sizing of my Men correct to all the questions I asked and the changes I made to Zeken etc the team at Miyako have been great. Thanks to Daniel and Andi for all your help. I recommend the Bogu set and the team.

I received it yesterday, and it's awesome!
Men kote and tare are very flexible and light. It fits perfectly and short mendare are really practical for my little shoulders!
If you're looking for a high quality bogu, don't hesitate! but you must be patient ;-)
