Based on our massively popular 'Tokuren Alpha' Bogu set, the new Tokuren 'Neo' is our lightest and most comfortable Jissengata Bogu to date!
 
In recent years 'I-Leather' has been a popular material to be used in Bogu, thanks to it's light weight, quick drying abilities and durability. However, it's somewhat unnatural colour meant that it could not be effectively used on all the parts of the Bogu, to produce the best result. The Tozando group were keen to improve on this, and as a result developed 'Neo Leather'. 'Neo Leather' is lighter, stronger and quicker drying than any other leather material used in Bogu production, and better still it is almost identical in appearance to genuine indigo-dyed deerskin. By utilizing this great new material, we have produced the ultimate light-weight Jissengata Bogu, which is roughly 25% lighter than a 'standard' Bogu set with similar specifications.
 
This Bogu is made here in Japan, at our headquarters in Nishijin, Kyoto, by our highly skilled and experienced craftsmen. This set is extremely lightweight and strong, whilst at the same time remaining understated and stylish. Like the all of our Made in Japan Bogu range, this Bogu set is made by us, and not sourced from a supplier, it is exclusively available and can not be found elsewhere.
 
Please be aware that each Bogu set is custom made, and like any tailor-made item, a great deal of time and effort goes into producing each one. This is not a 'run of the mill' Bogu, and because we are providing you with the very best quality and perfect fit this Bogu can not, and will not be sold 'off the shelf'. Please be aware that in order for us to deliver a top quality, hand-crafted bogu set that delivery may take some time. Please expect to wait approximately 2-6 months for shipping, depending on the specific options you have chosen. We will advise of a more accurate delivery time at the point of order.

THE PAYMENT PLAN REQUIRES PAYMENT BY CREDIT/DEBIT CARD - Payment by PayPal is NOT possible.
 
How it works -
  • You pay the initial payment of 10,500 JPY plus the first monthly installment of 29,500 JPY as listed below at the time of placing your order.
  • Your Card will automatically be charged on a monthly basis, beginning approximately one month from the day you placed the initial order.
  • Once all payments have been made we will ship your order, provided it is ready. PLEASE NOTE - WE WILL NOT SHIP YOUR ORDER UNTIL ALL PAYMENTS HAVE BEEN RECEIVED.
  • You may pay off the entire balance at any time, by simply contacting us. There are no charges or fees for doing this.
Points to Note - 
  • The easy-payment-plan is aimed at making owning customised Kendo Bogu more affordable to all Kendoka. IT IS NOT A CREDIT SERVICE, more it is a means to spread the cost you would normally pay up-front over a series of months. Although we DO NOT CHARGE INTEREST, some Credit card issuers may charge handling fees for international transactions. Please be aware that any fees or interest charged by your card issuer are NOT the responsibility of Miyako Kendogu.
  • The Initial Payment is taken in order to cover the initial costs of producing a custom made Bogu set. This payment is NON-REFUNDABLE and if you cease to make payments to your payment-plan, we will be forced to cease production of your order until payments resume. As previously stated we are not issuing credit, and if you are struggling to make a payment simply contact us and we will happliy re-coordinate your plan.
  • Further payments on your order will be used to cover the ongoing costs of production, and therefore they are also NON-REFUNDABLE. We advise all customers to ensure they can afford all payments before comitting to the order.
