This Bogu is made here in Japan, at our headquarters in Nishijin, Kyoto. We are dedicated to bringing our customers the chance to customise their Bogu, and Hirata offers you the chance to design a completely unique set. The standard specification is a 1.5 Bu Deluxe Bogu set, however, through our various upgradable choices an even higher specification can easily be achieved. As this Bogu set is made by us, and not sourced from a supplier, it is exclusively available and can not be found elsewhere.
 
Please be aware that each Bogu set is custom made, and like any tailor-made item, a great deal of time and effort goes into producing each one. This is not a 'run of the mill' bogu, and because we are providing you with the very best quality and perfect fit this Bogu can not, and will not be sold 'off the shelf'. Please be aware that in order for us to deliver a top quality, hand-crafted bogu set that delivery may take some time. Please expect to wait approximately 2-6 months for shipping, depending on the specific options you have chosen. We will advise of a more accurate delivery time at the point of order.

 Basic Specification
Men – IBB Dura Pro Mengane (grille),Choice of ago design, Indigo dyed deer skin Heri (border finishing), 1.5 Bu stitch width with Indigo Deerskin Futon, Nanamezashi (Diagonal stitching) on the Mendare (shoulder protection) and is finished with a Fukuronui seam.
Kote – Indigo dyed deer skin Kobushi (Fist) with deluxe smoked deer skin Tenouchi (palms). 1.5 bu stitched Indigo Deerskin futon. 
Do – Black Synthetic Dodai, top quality Kurozan Mune (chest guard) with choice of Mune design.
Tare – 6 line Kazari decoration, all reinforcements and Heri (border finishing) are Indigo dyed deer skin, 1.5 Bu Indigo Deerskin futon.

I received my new bogu ordered to Miyako. It is gorgeous and I'm very excited about it. It fits perfectly on my body measures.
I like the short Mendare as don't restrict movement of my shoulders. The Men and Kote fits like a glove, and my Do it's a piece of art. I love this bogu!

The Miyako team was great and their services were awesome. Miyako's craftsmen have done a perfect job. Andy responds patient to all my questions and he's advices were very precious. Thanks to Andy and Miyako team for helping me get this beautiful bogu!

I definetely recommend this bogu set and Miyako team!
