Excellent bogu! |

I have been using this bogu for 2 months now and I must admit that it is the best bogu I have ever used.
I got it looking exaktlie like I wanted it and Andy has provided the best support that I have ever encountered from a kendo web shop.
Im really pleased and I highly recomend it for both shiai and practise. The koté feelt like wearing nothing on your hands and made my wrists really flexible whilst still protekting from the hits of my teammates.

Superb armor |

After 10 years of doing kendo in an introductory set, I decided to get a new set. I wanted quality and I wanted a traditional hand-made set from Japan. Andy helped my choose the right set for me and to pick the options I wanted. The result is a beautiful piece of craftsmanship, but perhaps more importantly a fantastically effective set of kendo armor.
Although I knew the quality would be high, the extremely light weight of this set was a shock. Yet, not one bit of protection as sacrificed to achieve it. This set is beautiful, very light, and provides complete protection, all at once. Also, the smaller size of the men-dare allows a wider range of motion in the shoulders and is quite liberating!
I am totally satisfied with my purchase and very thankful to have found Miyako kendogu!

Simply Awesome |

It fits perfectly. Super light and soft. It's protection ability has definitely reached beyond my expectation. Andy has been very helpful through out the purchasing process. Shipping is super fast (1-2days from Japan to US). The only downside is that you have to wait several months, but I think it's worth the wait.

I purchased by using the 6 month payment plan. This really helped me in getting the funds together to by this great bogu. The bogu is really light but takes the knocks much better than my old set and looks great too. Thanks for all the help Andy.

Just received this customized set. Only one word to describe "AWESOME".
Everything is just perfect & well-fit to my bogu. My feeling of the first wear is like a Tuxedo, very comfortable and nice looking. The whole bogu set is less than 5kg, very light. But it's very strong, very protective. I no longer feel the pain of tough strikes.
If you are looking for a FASHIONABLE, EASY TO CARE, LIGHT-WEIGHT & PROTECTIVE bogu set, I do recommend you this one.
If you are looking for a high-quality international Kendo Shop with outstanding consultancy services, I do recommend you to keep in touch with Miyako Kendogu.
