The Bogu features genuine Indigo dyed Orizashi futon, with 5mm stich intervals, and 2.5 mm over the Mendare (shoulder protection) and on the Tare. 


Orizashi is a term applied to bogu that has a futon which is reinforced with strong and thick cotton, like that used to make high grade keikogi. The advantages of it make the Bogu light weight, strong and quick drying.

Specifications -
Men – All Duralumin Mengane (grille), Indigo Clarino Heri (border finishing), Futon features genuine Indigo dyed Orizashi reinforcement, with Nanamezashi (diagonal stitching) on the Mendare (shoulder protection) and is finished with a Fukuronui seam. Urakawa (reverse leather) features Green Kozakura design.

Kote – Genuine Indigo dyed Orizashi Kobushi (Fist), Leather Tenouchi (palms). Single Namako (wrist joint). 

Do – Synthetic Black Dodai, top quality Kurozan Mune (chest guard) with dark blue decoration.

Tare – 5 line Kazari decoration, all reinforcements and Heri (border finishing) are Indigo Clarino.
