This Bogu is made here in Japan, at our headquarters in Nishijin, Kyoto - to your EXACT specification, measurements and design. We are dedicated to bringing our customers the chance to customise their Bogu, and Arashi now offers you the chance to design your 'dream' Bogu set. The standard specification is a top quality 2.0 Bu Deluxe Bogu set, however, through our various upgradable choices a higher specification can easily be achieved.
The craftsmen in charge of making your one-of-a-kind, bespoke Bogu set, are amongst Japan's most experienced and respected craftsmen. They all practice Kendo too, so they know exactly what Kendoka look for in 'the perfect' Bogu set.
Thousands of Kendoka around Japan, including many famous players and Sensei, ask our craftsmen to make Bogu for them - because they know they will receive a perfect fit.
Made -to-order in every possible way, Arashi allows you to create a Bogu made in every way to be yours.
Please be aware that each Arashi Bogu set is custom made, and like any tailor-made item, a great deal of time and effort goes into producing each one. This is not a 'run of the mill' bogu, and because we are providing you with the very best quality and perfect fit this Bogu cannot, and will not be sold 'off the shelf'.
Please be aware that in order for us to deliver a top quality, hand-crafted bogu set that delivery may take some time. Please expect to wait approximately 14-26 weeks for shipping, depending on the specific options you have chosen. Further, as our craftsmen are amongst the most popular in Japan, their workload is extremely heavy, and none of the Arashi Bogu set is made using machine or factory processes. For this reason, it is impossible to work to exact time scales. However, shortly after placing your order, you will be provided with an 'Estimated Shipping Date' which represents the initial date to which the craftsmen will work to.
