Having used and experimented with a variety of different shinai for years I finally took the step up to 'Hi no Kuni'. This shinai just felt so comfortable and well balanced the first time i picked it up. Exceptional quality no doubt. Its positive effects were felt in my kamae and in the crisp feel of my strikes. Much Thanks to the Miyako team for providing the very best in available Kendo Equipment.

Friday I received my shinai Hi no Kuni and I must say
I tried to keep it a wonderful feeling in between
hands seems almost, if you close your eyes, keep
holding a Nihonto.

I got a pair of Hi No Kuni shinai from Andy as Christmas gift. The quality is wonderful, looks very beautiful, and very good feeling when I hold in hands. It gives me the best balance in my daily keiko.
Thanks to Andy as always for supplying the best products & services. I do recommend this shinai for everyone who is looking for a high quality shinai!
