"Never have a favourite weapon!" |

Preferring not to use dobari shinai, it is often tricky to find a well-balanced koto style shinai from suppliers for regular practice- outside of visiting a bogu shop in person. It goes without saying that durability and price (value for money) are the next most important factors.
For the last year or so I have been using up my "Frankenstein" shinai, which while challenging my ability to adapt and cope a variety of weight and balance, has been frustrating to say the least. Since using the Jissengata Kotozukuri shinai I have been enjoying my keiko again! I may have found a favourite weapon!
PS: I have bought two more since this review!
